  • Nicole Thumhart

    Meet Nicole - Nicole is the official Hospital Manager here at Clover Bay (with her trusty sidekick, Cody). She has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2001 and has had the privilege of working with Dr. Andersen making VOW house calls since 2016. Over the years Nicole honed her skills working at East Bay Veterinary Hospital, Long Island Veterinary Specialists, NY Veterinary Hospital, Veterinary Referral and Emergency Group, Animal Medical Center, and Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners. Her experience in Emergency and Specialty veterinary medicine has given her the opportunity to learn and grow with so many talented veterinarians. When not working, Nicole is at home spending time with her fiancé Tim, daughter Isabella, son Zane, and her amazing Labrador Retriever, Reese. She’s very excited to be a part of the Clover Bay team and to bring the most incredible care to your pets.

  • Cody Mercer

    Meet Cody - The friendly neighborhood jack-of-all-trades, Cody brings a various background to the Clover Bay team. Growing up on a farm in Iowa surrounded by pets and livestock instilled a lifelong passion for animals in Cody at a young age. Meeting his wife, Dr. Andersen in college has led to a lifelong goal of supporting her and her goal of providing pet care to the community. From helping with the start-up of Veterinarian On Wheels to a similar role with Clover Bay, he’s extremely excited to be joining the team fulltime. Stop by and sell hello to him when you’re in the office as he strives to make everybody feel like one of the family.

  • Holly Marvin

    Meet Holly - Holly is an incredible Licensed Veterinary Technician with more than 12 years of experience caring for animals and supporting both pets and their families. She will be splitting her time between Clover Bay and Animal Surgical Center, and we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our team. A proud Port Washington mom of four amazing children, Holly lives with her husband and their three wonderful dogs. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and being an active part of her community. Holly’s kindness, experience, and genuine love for animals make her an invaluable member of our team. We are beyond excited to welcome her to the Clover Bay family!

  • Jessica Miller

    Meet Jessica - Jessica grew up in Port Washington and graduated from Emory University in 2001. She has 3 children and a husband from New Jersey. Although she has a masters in criminal justice she realized her true passion is taking care of idiot, over-sized bernadoodles. She has been working with Dr. Andersen for four years on VOW. It was during this time she found a passion and commitment for feline behavioral science and restraint. Her hobbies include story telling and volunteering her time with various charities. Her special skills include navigation and speed reading. We’re so excited to have her as port of the Clover Bay team as one of our lead vet techs.

  • Mike Esposito

    Meet Mike - Dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant with over 3 years of hands-on experience working alongside Dr. Andersen, providing quality care for companion animals in a clinical setting. He also gained valuable experience at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, where he assisted wit the daily care, handling, and well-being of shelter animals. As the owner of a German Shepherd, he has a personal understanding of responsible pet care and the importance of building trust with animals. He is committed to delivering compassionate care, and ensuring the health and comfort of every animal he works with.

  • Jessi Perlman

    Meet Jessi - Ever since she was little she’s had a huge love for animals, so getting to care for them every day is a dream come true for her. She’s grateful to be part of such an incredible team that shares her passion for helping pets live happy, healthy lives. Being able to what she loves every day is something she never wants to take for granted and she’s excited to continue learning and growing while caring for the amazing pets and families in our community.

  • Nancy Haberman

    Meet Nancy - Nancy is one of the friendly faces who will greet you when you walk through our doors. As a receptionist at Clover Bay, she is dedicated to making every visit as welcoming, organized, and stress-free as possible for both our clients and their humans. A proud Port mom of three wonderful children, Nancy loves being part of the community she calls home. Her warm personality, positive attitude, and genuine compassion help make every client and patient feel like part of the Clover Bay family. We are so excited to have Nancy on our team and know you’ll love getting to know her!

  • Avery LaRosa

    Meet Avery - We are so proud to have Avery on our team as one of our Client Care Specialists! Avery is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and helping every client and pet feel comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors. A proud Port Washington native and resident, Avery recently graduated from Ole Miss (University of Mississippi). She shares her home with her beloved German Shepherd, Ginger, who helped inspire her love for animals and veterinary medicine. Avery’s warm personality, positive attitude, and genuine compassion make her a wonderful addition to the Clover Bay family. We know you’ll love being greeted by her friendly smile when you visit us!
