Dr. Mia Cosentino

Meet Dr. Mia Cosentino

Dr. Cosentino was born and raised in New York. Her love and compassion for animals began when she was a child and inspired her summer volunteer jobs, travel, and academic career. Dr. Cosentino graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree as an Animal Science major. She then went onto receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Over the past seven years, Dr. Cosentino has gained valuable experience working in a variety of veterinary hospitals, caring for a wide range of patients and building strong relationships with their families.

At home, Dr. Cosentino shares her life with her husband, Cody, their son, Mason, and a lively crew of four-legged family members. She has two "shelter specials," Freddy and Milo, as well as two cats, Bean and Franklin. Dr. Cosentino has a special soft spot for senior pets, and it seems that any who cross her path often find their way into her family. When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with Cody and Mason, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and cuddling up with her pets at home.
